Hello friends.
I saw a sentence which I need help about, in a documentary.
"Germany declared war on France, but
on Ottoman Empire, It didn't declare war."
Can we change word order by putting preposition at the beginning while writing more than one sentence?
Because as far as I understand, "It" means "Germany".
On this way, it seems also possible
"Germany declared war on France
but
On Ottoman Empire, It(they) declared peace."
Thank you in advance.
