Dear Sir/Madam Let me begin by introducing myself. My name is ---. I am sixteen years old, and I am currently finishing my senior year of highschool in Venezuela. I address you this opportunity as a result of a very extensive analysis of my options after graduation and pursuing an undergraduate degree, and I decided that due to the ongoing situation Venezuelans are living and my long-time dream of enlarging my horizons and experiencing new cultures that I wanted to take the challenge of studying abroad. My particular case is oriented to my high motivation of becoming an overall professional in the business area, specifically a degree in Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing, and --- University, being one of the most important and recognized universities in Canada, is at the top of my list. Since my early years I have distinguished myself from my companions for my academic performance and participating in activities such as: math olympics, United Nations models, young leadership programs, and most recently a business competition held in London called Beo Master Insight, in which we earned second place in best exposition in our campus and the Play Fair Star award, recognizing us as the best team overall performance. In addition, I spent half my life in ballet and always have had an hear for music, and I have complimented all that with my charity work with nursing homes and low-income schools. The intention of this letter is to request some information about your admission requisites for international students and your scholarship and financial aid programmes (as you may know, it is neither simple nor accessible nowadays for Venezuelans to obtain foreign currency). I am well aware that all the information is in your website, but I have been having difficulties finding some of the material. I would also appreciate if you could provide me with the potential starting dates for fall 2016, considering I intend to commence around that period, and finally if you could ease contact between an adviser or recruiter and myself, preferably Spanish-speaking, but if that is not possible I am comfortable communicating in English as well. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Yours faithfully, mmm
