Is this usage "keep them to the second edition" appropriate to convey my idea?

The situation is that I made a list of functions I want in a project to a website development company, some of which are necessary and some are not so necessary. Therefore, if the expected cost exceeds our budget, I will choose necessary part first and I hope the rest will be developed in next edition.

The following is the original message:

We noticed and appreciate the works of your team, which makes us consider you the best choice we are looking for. Our draft plan is as the attachment with a budget about xxx US dollars. If the expected cost of development exceeds our budget, we can cut down functions with a lower priority and keep them to the second edition, or discuss whether we need to or have enough fund to increase our budget.

In addition to the development of mobile app version which synchronizes with the web version, we hope to hire your team part-time as well to ? maintain the site (approximately 2 hours per day), ? backup every month, and ? add new features or updates to the website.

Moreover, which part, word or sentence could I revise to improve?

Thank you in advance. Emotion: smile
