Is this understandable ?
Is this correctly written and understandable?
Kids born in a different fiscal year regardless of whether born in January or December aren't in the same class. It's almost as if the kid born December 31st has a jump start on life as opposed to the kid born January 1st who is born a day after and who has to be in the class under.

Don't confuse, calendar year (1 January to 31 December) with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_year or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiscal_year.
