I am a BrE speaker and I would always use "at". "on" feels alien to me.

How about for holidays (when the word day is ommited)?

i.e. Christmas and Easter

Does the general convention still hold?

on Christmas/Easter (AmE)
at Christmas/Easter (BrE)

American:

We're having a big dinner on Christmas/Easter.

It sounds right to me.

For my part, yes. I would only ever use the versions with "at".

Often yes, except it's capitalised as "the BBC". However "watch BBC" is also possible.

The big dinner? Or on Christmas? I admit I would add Day at least 95% of the time. Do you say at Christmas?
