Some Korean-English teacher insists that native English speakers do not look up English words in dictionaries.

Is this true?

I would like to hear from as many as possible.

Thank you so much but to understand meanings exactly in reading newspapers and books, sometimes I do and then what about students? I think that the reason we can speak our mother tongue is that we did or do study it, using dictionaries when we were young.

And then I have one more question.
