"By the way your payment date is 15/06/2009 for the current orders. We need to get the payment to make ready your orders just in time. " is this correct?

Hi -

First a quick note about the word "true." It would be true if the payment is due on June 15, regardless of the grammar, and it would be false if the payment were due on another day.

Many, many learners seem to use this word "true" to mean "correct."

Now, is it correct?

Let me ask ask a few questions:

1. Are there multiple orders?

2. Has the payment date been confirmed previously, so that the "by the way" introduction makes sense?

3. Will you not process the order if you have not received payment? Or will you simply not ship them?

4. Do you see a difference between "in time" and "just in time"?

Will this work?

This is a remidner that your payment for the current order(s?) is due 15 June 2009. We must receive your payment before we can ship your order.
