Is this title of a paper correct? And does it sound ok for native speakers?

Hello dear native speakers,
I'd like to ask you to check a title of a paper we are going to submit after a revision. I'd like to know, if it is gramatically correct and if it sounds ok in english or if there is something odd.

Roles of species-preferential seed dispersal by ants and endozoochory in Melampyrum (Orobanchaceae)

the alternative is also

Roles of species-preferential myrmecochorous seed dispersal and endozoochory in Melampyrum (Orobanchaceae)

(Myrmecochory = seed dispersal by ants)

OK some people told me that they can't give me an advice if they don't understand the words. So here they come:
Myrmecochory = official scientific term for dispersal of seeds by ants
endozoochory = term for dispersal of seeds in animal gut
Melampyrum = latin name of plant genus
Orobanchaceae = latin name of plant family
