Is this the right way to write an email

Thank You for the email. I would like to be a member of ISA committee, but I doubt on my capabilites for website designer role. I have never done such kind of work before. If you could brief little bit about my responsibilities as a website designer, I would be in a better position to judge, whether I am right fit for this position or not.
