Is this the appropriate question

Hi teachers,
Is this the appropriate question for the bold word in the answer.
How much cheese did he buy?
He bought enough cheese.

You are right, we have discussed that before.
Bu the thing is that the question and answer are for beginners. Having said that, how can they learn structure if the answer is only 'enough'?
In MHO those kind of answers a native speaker will give are

I can see where the problem is.
When I have posted my questions, they are both, for beginners and intermediates. That's where probably the confusion is, isn't it?

The reason this doesn't work as a question-answer pair is that the question asks for an amount and the answer gives an opinion about an amount. There is no exact question that can elicit this kind of opinion unless you ask
