Is this text written by aa native speaker of English?

Hello everybody.

This might seem like a weird question, but can you please kindly go to this linke and tell me if it's written by a native speaker of English or not:

I really struggle to read and comprehend the text. I just to know if it's just me or there is really something wrong about it.

Especially, consider the the senteces "Now advance 4 years to 2008 and how views have changed, the Discovery Channel has done a documentary on extra solar planets and presented a theoretical planet locked by gravity where rotation of the planet does not occur. In this example, the star and the planet in a mutual orbit presents the same face of the planet" in the paragraph above the "Let's examine the current status quo for Moon rotation" or the sentence "When scientists concluded the axis is the Moon rotated in pace with its orbit presenting the same side always, this seemed true, but it was the frame of reference used, which is the source of confusion".

Thank you all.

It wasn't an easy read, but it seems like it could have been written by a native English speaking person. Note though, not all people are able to speak or write well in their native language.

It was yours? If it seemed so, I didn't mean to drag you down with my comment. I'm really sorry. We all make mistakes; that's how we must learn. Even my wife, as she jokingly tells me, made a mistake once (just once) when she thought she was wrong but actually it turned out she was right.

You're right. It's still very early here in Vancouver, BC.

It doesn't matter who wrote it. It's terrible English; don't waste any time on that article.

I know. I had a really hard time summarizing it. And I made sure that my friend understood the situation.
