Is this text grammatically correct?

The global security situation is alarming. With Russia growing stronger, the Middle East in turmoil, thriving terrorism, and a rising uncertainty on the Korean peninsula, Nato becomes more important. At the same time, the new President of the United States makes the “special relationship” look more fragile.


I'm not 100% sure whether I can list the whole information in front of "Nato becomes more important."
