Is this structure of sentence correct?

The sentence :

I would have been to phone you.

If that's wrong, where's the mistake? If it's right could somene please explain it a little further? Emotion: smile
For me I think it should be "I would have been able to phone you" or "I would have phoned you"

Only 'I would have phoned you' makes general sense: 'I would have phoned you [if I had known your number, etc.]'

I would have been able to phone you — This is a long way of saying 'I would have phoned you.'

I would have been to phone you — This could be a response only in a very limited situation:

A: I think you're crazy!

B: I would have been to phone
