Is this song lyric grammatically correct?

Hello!
I am wondering if the line "just a time in life worth leaving" is reasonably correct. I am writing it as song lyrics, which aren't always grammatically correct. However, I still fear that this line won't make sense to listeners. Does it sound alright to you?

It is grammatically correct. To me it sounds like a wordplay on "worth living". I'm not sure whether that is the intention.

No. The concept of a love affair being "worth ending" seems odd

I'm not completely certain what you want to say. Do you mean something like "It was good while it lasted, but now it's over"?

Yes! Something with that concept in mind. Really appreciate the help! I'm in line at Subway at the moment. Do you know if the Turkey Italiano Sandwich is pretty good?
