For the first six months, the couple’s lives went very well since Caramon’s strength was needed for the rebuilding of Solace. However, once the town was rebuilt, Caramon was no longer needed and quickly became very depressed. Since Caramon had always been dependant on Raistlin and others rather than be his own person, now that he was alone he had no idea what to do with himself and had no self-esteem or sense of worth
