Is this small passage worded correctly?

FYI- Caramon and Tanis are the pair. Fighting for their lives on the citadel, the pair discovered that Tasslehoff had been able to make his way to the fortress by way of the bronze dragon Fireflash (Khirsah), and the three managed to take control of the citadel with the assistance of a gully dwarf named Rounce. After Tasslehoff and Rounce flew the citadel over the top of the Tower of High Sorcery, Caramon and Tanis jumped onto the parapet and entered Raistlin’s laboratory, where they found Dalamar and Kitiara locked in mortal combat, a fight which ultimately resulted in Kitiara’s death.
