FYI- The Council of Zulkirs consists of the mage-lords. While Aoth and the griffon riders, who were assisted by Mirror and Malark, continually harassed and raided the legions of Surthay and Gauros, Dmitra and the Council of Zulkirs met in Eltabbar to discuss the war that Szass Tam had begun. Since many nobles, legions, and common people throughout Thay would join Szass Tam’s cause and oppose the other mage-lords, Dmitra told the six zulkirs that they would need to directly command the nation’s inhabitants and actively participate in the conflict to display their authority and secure support. Dmitra also convinced the mage-lords that they had to openly fight alongside their followers or Szass Tam and his forces would easily achieve victory.
