Is this sentence using ‘cram’ acceptable?
Is this sentence using ‘cram’ acceptable? Does it sound natural? I’m not a native speaker of English, you know.
Nearly every one of my classmates crams to finish his or her school projects to meet the deadline for the submission of these projects.

I usually think of 'cramming' as last-minute studying , as for an exam. I suppose this use also works.
