Is this sentence understandable?

Hi!This looks highly clumsy! Can you please help me to re-word it (especially the ending)?Considering that the decision must be sent to England where the liquidator appointed to the defendant in the bankruptcy procedure will take a decision on execution thereof, a request was made to extend the time period for so many days so that it would be possible to execute the decision.Thank you!

It will be necessary to post the bankruptcy decision in an English court, which will appoint a liquidator to convert the defendant's assets there into cash with which to pay his creditors here. We request an extension of the payment deadline to (insert date here) to allow time to complete the required foreign legal procedures. Since I am not a solicitor, this is not legal but only linguistic advice.
