Is this sentence right - regarding the meaning ?

The sentence is: May your heart be back on (the) ride forever

I wanna give an engraved gift to someone who I hope will survive a heart surgery.

I know there's a phrase: back on track. But this person loves cars, that's why I'd wanna write ride. Is the 'the' needed? I'm also considering another phrase or sentence that I'd get engraved... but IDK
My mother tounge is not English...

You haven't said whether the recipient of this gift knows English. If not, you have one non-native English speaker trying to communicate with another non-native English speaker in English.
