Is this sentence right?

Hi, just wondering if this sentence is grammarily correct, looks fuzzy.

This difference can be clearly seen in The Prince, which is mostly based on Machiavelli’s continuous study of the ancient world.

Other than that the writer likely meant continuing rather than continuous , it seem very reputable to me. I might reverse the word order to ' seen clearly ' and 'based mostly ', but that is probably niggling.
