Is this sentence redundant?

Father, I'm yours. And as your judgments are
Both good and upright, then I'll follow them.
No marriage could be a greater prize for me
To win than being guided well by you.

Is there a problem with this sentence? I find it to be extremely redundant. Isn't that a grammatical mistake?

"then" is not needed; in fact, I'd say it's wrong by normal grammatical standards. This looks like verse though, so perhaps we can allow some poetic licence?
