Is this sentence natural?

In contradistinction to China, the Korea Republic was the country that used and generated the least amount of electricity in 2014."

Top answer

It is not unnatural, but there are problems. If you mean to say that China used the most electricity, you will actually have to say that; "contradistinction" alone does not get you there. "Least amount" limps.
