Is this sentence natural

She then asked the lady to move away.

Is it natural to write 'then' after 'she' or must it be written before the she, i.e. Then she asked the lady to move away.

Both versions are correct and sound natural. "Then she" sounds more like just telling the order of the occurrences. "She then" sounds more like the person took an additional step.
