Is this sentence grammatically correct: "If Manchester United bought 80 million pounds of Bitcoin in 2019 instead of Maguire they would have 868.5 million pounds right now"?

If not, could you please provide me with the grammatically correct version of the sentence? Thank you in advance.

It's grammatically fine, but stylistically I'd recommend a small change:

If Manchester United bought 80 million pound
