Is this sentence grammatically correct?

The sentence is: "When does she and I need to come in?"

Personally, I would change the pronouns to "we": "When do we need to come in?" But the teacher insists the first sentence is correct and I am wrong. Please help! ??

"Does" is dead wrong. It is "do" for the reason you state. Sometimes it is speaker's choice whether to construe a pair as singular, but not this time.
