Is this sentence grammatically correct?

"It's only the second time I am having a job interview." Would it be a bad idea to say this to an English speaking interviewer? And if so, why?

I am sorry, I would personally never say this to an interviewer. I just wanted to know if the sentence itself is grammatically incorrect. (local university examiners seem to think so)

It is borderline incorrect. Strict grammarians would probably assess it that way because "have" is mainly used as a static verb.

So it's just kind of awkward rather than being downright incorrect. That's what I thought too.
