Is this sentence effective or not?

Hi, can I say this sentence? and which one is inappropriate?

He is one of of the few non-medical professionals I know who is genuine interested to use his professional background to contribure to efforts to counter the Indonesian HIV epidemic.

1.) GENUINELY is an adverb that modifies the participle INTERESTED. You need the LY.

2.) Standard English usage would say INTERESTING I
