Is this sentence correct structurally? If not, how can I change it?

Beyond the communal setting of The University of Tulsa's campus, I'm interested in the values I gain from an education from this university.

Thanks so much guys!

"Communal" is not the right word for describing a university campus ("communal" means "like a commune"). You might say something like "friendly atmosphere" instead.
