Is this sentence correct and clear that the "him" refers to Beniago?

FYI- Drizzt is the drow warrior and Beniago is the assassin. Drizzt returned to Luskan and traded the antidote from Beniago for the promise that the drow warrior would support him in the future once the assassin had taken the title of High Captain of Ship Kurth.
