Is this sentence correct?

In my opinion, advantages of such measures are more prominent than the disadvantages are.

I think you should use the term “outweigh”, “prominent” is not suitable here. Another term for you: “overshadow” ( i think it should be used in a situation where the disadvantages make the advantages seem less important).
