Is my sentence below correct?
"Contrary to the study by X et al. which showed that cortisol levels were reduced at 320-1150 lux light intensities (27), our study revealed that not only cortisol levels in the group exposed to 300 lux did not reduce during the first seven days of exposure, but also increased; however, it did not show significant differences with the control group from day 7 to day 14."
