Is this sentence correct?

Hi, I feel as though the following sentence is correct, but then something in the back of my mind keeps telling me it’s not. Anyway, here’s the sentence...

”You now have the life I meant for you.”

Now seen as ‘mean’ can be used to mean intend, I really don’t see why this sentence would be incorrect as one is only really saying, you now have the life I intended for you. No?

Thanks.
