Is this sentence correct?

Hi,

Is the following sentence correct?

"The dark-light cycle of 12:12 (light cycle from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, dark cycle from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) was set by placing a timer in the power input path to the chamber."
