I have one more question about this sentence. Could I say "during the year 2015" instead of "during 2015? Is there any other way for writing this phrase? If yes, which one is preferred?

Thank you!

You could say during the year 2015 and it would be understood, but it is unnecessary in most cases. Maybe if you live in a country where more than one calendar is used, but from the UK I would always just say during 2015.
