Is this sentence correct?

Hi.

Is this sentence correct in terms of grammar as well as being natural?

It's stipulated that the goods be delivered in one week.

Top answer

It's not actually wrong, but one comment I would make is that "it's" is informal while the rest of the sentence ("stipulated", and the use of the subjunctive) is formal.

Thanks a lot. Which one would you choose in this question? (In an exam.)

It is ........ that the goods be delivered in one week.

A) Stipulated
B) Necessary
C) Guaranteed
D) Covenant

Which of the given answers is wrong?

(D) is the most wrong (ungrammatical).

I would be unsure whether (A) or (B) was the expected answer.

I think this question is wrong from scratch because there is more than one correct answer. Don't you think so? It's not even the matter of using collocation based on which we could decide which one suits the gap best!
