Is this sentence correct?

"Please note a successful offer will be subject to up to date landlord references should you currently be in rented accommodation."

I'm not sure about the 'subject to' part, but if someone could clear the clouds for me, I'd really appreciate it.

I think I would just say "require." Here is how I would say this.
