Is this sentence correct?

In some countries this would be considered as eliminating the competition amongst pharmacies, beauty salons etc.

It is correct.I would add two commas, however, the second one is not required.
In some countries, this would be considered as eliminating the competition amongst pharmacies, beauty salons, etc.
