Is this sentence correct?

In a letter of application or a letter of follow-up, I would say "thank you" rather than "thanks." Since you don't have the job yet, I wouldn't say you look forward to working with the company. You look forward to the opportunity to work for the company. You would be so pleased if you were to receive a position at the company.
