Is this sentence correct?

The choices are A, B, C, and D. Which do you think is the right answer between the different choices.

1. Since 'between' is used with two or more distinct items written in the same sentence, is it also correct to use it in another sentence where the distinct items, or choices as in the example, are already mentioned in the previous sentence?

2. Or should I use 'among' instead of 'between' above?

3. Without mentioning the choices, I understand the answer should be 'among'. Would you agree?

ie. Which do you think is the right answer among the different choices.
