Is this sentence correct?

I have explained to Mary last week that all the defective goods may not keep to the schedule / keep on time schedule. It is difficult to purchase / order the material if the goods are under the MOQ.

I explained to Mary last week that because of all the defective goods , we may not be able to keep to the schedule . It is difficult to purchase materials if the goods are under the minimum order quantity.
