Is this sentence correct?

It still seems awkward to me. Perhaps However unable these recommendations are to be the subject of a consensus, it is not because they are outright unfair.

But is the sentence incorrect? I like writing in a rather unusual matter. If I had to write in an non-peculiar way, I wouldn't write at all, I wouldn't see the point of it.

I wouldn't say it's incorrect, but I didn't understand the original version and I have some trouble understanding the later version.

I guess it's a question of how important it is for you to have your reader or listener understand your meaning.

Well, I read Hegel a while ago and I think it was possibly way worse than this.
