Please take a look at the next sentence, tell me if there is anything wrong.

Carlos from Brazil would say March the first, 2006 to see the date 3-5-2006.

You probably mean March the fifth, while in Europe we read it as the third of May.

Your question is presumably about what follows: "on seeing", not "to see".
