Is this sardonic, sarcastic, something else entirely?

I have read many online sources to more finely-tune my understanding of the differences between sarcastic and sardonic.

However, it isn't solidified in my mind just yet and applying that understanding to real-life examples (other than the particular example set forth in the particular blog, comment or whatever) is still a bit tricky for me.

Accordingly, I offer this real-world (my world, anyway) example in hopes that someone that clearly and accurately shed some light on this and tell me if this is sarcastic, sardonic or perhaps something else (just rude, mocking, biting humor??):

Person 1 is bouncing an apple around in their hands and drops it on the floor once.

Person 2 (in a light, teasing manner) says, "Are you going t (o start bouncing the apple on the floor or are you going to eat it?"

Person 1 (in what I believe was a more biting, contemptuous manner, albeit "veiled" somewhat under the guise of being funny [even Person 2, mistakenly I believe, still called it "just a joke"]) says (while drawing back their hand, with the apple in it), "No, but I am going to bounce it off your head!"

What say you?? (Thanks in advance)
