Is this sentence correct:

"he did the work not with the quality that he should have."

I can appreacite your point of view. Some may think a period (or full -stop as the Brits call it) or a semicolon may be in order, and I in fact thought about it. However, I opted a comma because I felt the semantics allows the continuation of a single sentence structure, rather than two. I think it is a matter of contexts and style in my humble opinion. Here is a couple of variances on punctuatin
