Is this quote introduced correctly??

I was wondering if this was worded correctly for an essay. It's just another way for me to introduce a quote. Jeres the original quote from the book:

"...come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you."

Notorious for her selfish demeanor, Abigail Williams is conceivably the most self orientated person in the play. While Abigail and the girls were frolicking in the woods, Abigail ingested chicken blood to curse Elizabeth Proctor. When Abigail acknowledged the fact the girls were aware of her curse, she threatened them too keep silent by claiming she would, “come to them in the black of some terrible night and bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder them.” (Act I scene I p. 20).

Any suggestions?
