Is This Puzzle Solvable??

Click To Enlarge: Note: There are no tricks to this puzzle. No underground tunneling systems. No "tying" pipes together. No coming up with your own ideas.

This is a straightforward puzzle with one rule: Get Light, Gas, and Water to each house with out crossing lines. Draw it out on a piece of paper and give it a try!

Ok i have been doing a bit of research on this, and apparantly it cannot be done, unless the graph or drawing is 3 dimensional.

Correct!! This puzzle is not solvable!! I have tried for years and no one I know can do it. When I first found this puzzle, it stated "Try it if you can!"

You can't simply state. You can't go through the house. It's a perfectly valid solution to the question as asked.

Going through someone else's property is not allowed.

I remember looking at this problem long before the Internet was invented. One possible solution was drawing around the back of the paper.
