Is this Phrase correct?

Hi All,

Could any one help me out on the phrase 'STICK IN TOUCH'? Is this gramatically correct? Scemantically correct? Can I use this as an alternate for 'Keep/stay in touch' ?

Top answer

No. Stay / keep in touch , not stick . The grammar is OK, of course-- as it is for eat / sleep / go / sit / compute / etc in touch -- but it is not semantically natural.
