Is this passive?

"Why are you waiting?” he asked Rast and the others in a voice gone deceptively soft, but it was Jon who moved first.

Hi, dear teachers.

This text is quoted from A Game Of Thrones. I am wondering about the underlined part. I know it is a reduction of "that had gone deceptively soft" because I have previously asked this question here

https://forum.wordreference.com/threads/gone-soft.3357616/

A native speaker there insists that "gone soft" here is passive, which I find weird.

Is "gone soft" active or passive in your minds?

Thank you.

zuotengdazuo Is "gone soft" active or passive in your minds? It is active, if an intransitive sentence can be called such; 'go' is a linking verb there. 'User With No Name' has confused his grammar terms or simply has confused grammar.
