Ariakas understood that to bring together such a vast army of evil creatures from disparate races meant that it would be necessary to control some of their worst tendencies, such as inclinations for needless destruction. For the next few years, Ariakas and his subordinates continued to recruit all manner of mercenaries and dark warriors.
